Visa Application for India **New Online Procedure**

Please read this notice before applying through Tibet Bureau, Geneva

Procedure / Requirements

  1. Signed printout of the online filled India visa application. Please visit http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/ for online application
     
  2. Two recent and identical passport photo size 2 inch X 2 inch in white background. (5 cmX5cm). Read carefully the photo specification on http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/
     
  3. Post VISA fee Payment Receipt (original). Deposit the VISA fee in post office in favour of Consulate General of India, 9, Rue du Valais,1202 Geneva.
    Post-Check Account: 12-10232-9

     
  4. Letter from your Tsogchung Thumi of Chatrel contribution
     
  5. Passport (Travel Document) in original (at least 6 month validity)
     
  6. Photocopy of your Swiss B / C / F Residence Permit
     
  7. Self addressed and stamped return envelope (CHF 6.00 / CHF 7.00 for more than applicant in one envelope)
     
  8. Every visa applicant must submit all the required documents in person to Indian Consulate, Geneva from 09.15 to 12.30 hrs. The mandatory biometric (finger print and photo) will be taken during the submission of documents.
     
  9. The visa processing time will take 45 days.
