The Sera Thekchen Ling Association organised a teaching sermon by Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche in Dietikon region, Zürich, Switzerland, on 11 August 2024. Thinley Chukki, the Representative of the Tibet Bureau in Geneva, was honoured with an invitation as a distinguished guest.
Upon Rinpoche’s arrival, the Abbot of the Rikon Dharma Centre and the representative of the Tibet Bureau Geneva made offerings of Mandalas, following which, the Abbot introduced the centre and briefed its annual report to Rinpoche.
Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche shared the close connection between his predecessor and the centre and shared further insights. Rinpoche, along with Representative Thinley Chukki, then toured the premises of the centre and held a meeting with the Abbot for about half an hour.
During a luncheon held in honour of the Rinpoche’s visit, Representative Thinley Chukki apprised the former about roles and responsibilities of the Tibet Bureau.
On 11 August, Representative Thinley Chukki, accompanied by the Office of Tibet’s Chinese Liaison Officer, attended the teaching of Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche at the sermon venue.
