Geneva: The annual meeting of the representatives of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at CTA’s various Offices of Tibet successfully concluded this Sunday.
The two-day meeting, held from 3 to 4 November, deliberated on various agendas of the Central Tibetan Administration including the observance of Thank you year 2018 across India and abroad, issues related to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visits abroad as well as discussions and recommendations on administration and activities of the OOTs and a follow-up action on the previous annual Representatives meeting.
Representative Ngodup Dorjee, Office of Tibet, Geneva and Kalden Tsomo presented on the ongoing UN and Human Rights advocacy campaigns.
Secretary Dhardon Sharling, Department of Information and International Relations gave a presentation on CTA’s communication strategy and information dissemination through the relevant media platforms.
President Dr Lobsang Sangay of Central Tibetan Administration and DIIR secretaries Sonam Norbu Dagpo and Tenzin Dhardon Sharling presided over the meeting.
Representatives of OOTs based in New Delhi, Geneva, Washington DC, Taiwan, London, Brussels, Canberra, Moscow, South Africa and Bureau du Tibet, France and Additional secretary of DIIR, Chemi Tseyang attended the meeting.
