Procedure / Requirements
- Printout Online filled India visa application and sign both the page. For children, form should be sign either by mother or father.
- To fill online visa application click here: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa Kindly note that it is mandatory to upload passport size photo in the online visa form.
- Choose “Tibet”as nationality and type of visa: Tourist VISA-T1 and for IC holder Mis Visa
- Two recent and identical passport photo size 2 inch X 2 inchin white background. (5 cmX5cm) or American passport size. Read carefully the photo specification.
- Recommendation Letter from respective Tsogchung Thumi upto dated contribution of Dhanglang Chatrel etc.
- Child below 18 years travelling with single parent (mother/father) should produce letter of authorization from either of parent. (For example, a child travelling to India with mother then father should give no objection/ authorization letter on his travel document copy that his child can travel with mother to India)
- Passport (Travel Document) in original (at least 6 month validity from date of Journey with clear day, month & year of Birth)/
- Tibetans with Swiss Passports applying for an Indian Visa must apply to Indian Consulate in Bern or Online. The Indian Consulate in Geneva does not accept the Visa application and visa fee will not be refunded.

Residence Permit: Submit a photocopy of your valid Swiss B, C, or F Residence Permit with at least 3 months’ validity. If your permit is valid for less than 3 months, you must also provide either:
- A letter from the relevant Swiss authority confirming your permit renewal, or
- A valid return visa.
- Return Envelope: Please include a self-addressed, stamped registered return envelope with your application for the return of your documents. Ensure the envelope is of good quality and securely sealed to prevent documents from being lost or damaged during postal transit.
- Visa Fee: The visa fee must be paid separately for each applicant, with the applicant’s full name clearly indicated on the payment. Applications with pending or unconfirmed bank transfers will not be accepted.

Important: The visa fee and consular surcharge must be paid separately. Please mention the applicant’s full name on each payment. Pending or unconfirmed bank transfers will not be accepted.

The visa application processing will take 45 days.
13: Please send the following documents by registered post to the address indicated below:
- a. Completed visa application form with the signature in front and back.
- b. Two recent passport-size photographs.Size 2 inch X 2 inchin white background. (5 cmX5cm) or American passport size. Read carefully the photo specification.
- c. Visa fee payment receipt.
- d. Green Book payment receipt copy.
- e. Original Travel Document.
- f. Original Tsogchung letter.
- g. Two photocopies of your Swiss residence permit (Ausweis)
- h. Two photocopies of your Travel Document.
- i. Copy of flight ticket.
Important: Please ensure that all photocopies are provided as separate, clear copies and that all required documents are enclosed before sending your application.
