His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrives in Japan to a rousing welcome

Dharamshala: Hundreds of well-wishers and devotees in Japan celebrated the arrival of Tibetan spiritual leader His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the country after exactly two years. His Holiness had last visited Japan in November 2016.

The Tibetan leader will conduct a series of teachings and talks over the next ten days. 

Tomorrow morning, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will teach on the Heart Sutra (sherab nyingpo), Je Tsongkhapa’s Praise to the Buddha for His Teachings on Dependent Origination (tendrel toepa) & Kamalashila’s The Middle Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa).

On November 15 morning, His Holiness will confer the Avalokiteshvera Initiation (chenresig jigten wangchuk wang).

On November 16, His Holiness will hold a dialogue between Buddhist science and modern science with three scientists. These events are being organized at the request of the Liaison Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama (NPO Tibet House Japan) and being held at the Pacifico Yokohama (National Convention Hall of Yokohama).
