V-TAG Members in Switzerland Conduct Tibet Awareness on 35th Anniversary of the Conferment of Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness

The members of the Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG) in Switzerland conducted a Tibet awareness campaign during the commemoration of the 35th anniversary of the conferment of the Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on 14 December 2024 in Büllach, Zurich.

The group aimed to raise awareness about Tibet’s current situation and also focused on educating and inspiring the younger generation with the teachings of His Holiness and informing the Tibetan community about V-TAG.

The V-TAG members engaged young Tibetans through a quiz and colouring competition to spread awareness about the ongoing situation in Tibet. These activities encouraged creativity and critical thinking, particularly among the youth.

Books and images featuring the messages and teachings of His Holiness the Dalai Lama were distributed. This initiative aimed to inspire the younger generation with His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s vision of compassion, peace, and global harmony.

The event served as a platform to inform attendees about the current situation in Tibet and an opportunity to inform the public about V-TAG and its significant role in fostering international support for Tibet.
